AkaMe started inside a business that had nothing to do with software.

I'm Asher — I co-founded Sterling Model Management in Miami, where we managed creators full-time. We handled everything: content strategy, growth, brand deals, and the one thing nobody else was paying attention to — keeping their Instagram accounts alive.

Early on, I noticed a pattern. Creators we worked with who linked to shared platforms kept getting flagged and suspended. Meanwhile, the pages I had built on clean, isolated domains never got touched. Not once. Over several years of managing creators, I personally watched thousands of accounts get restricted or deleted. But none of my models' pages were ever taken down — because they weren't standing in the same lineup as everyone else.

"That wasn't luck. It was architecture."

So I started building the platform myself — from the ground up. Not just safe pages — beautiful ones. I saw what other creators were putting out there: blurry photos, clashing colors, Linktree templates that looked like everyone else's. These are people building real businesses, and their landing page looked like an afterthought. So I started engineering pages that actually looked like the brands they were trying to build — professional photography standards, cohesive design, smart layouts that converted without triggering anything.

After doing this privately for years, I took everything I had learned and built AkaMe from scratch — every page template, every feature, every line of the product. No dev team. No outside funding. Just a problem I understood better than anyone because I lived it every day.

AkaMe is what happens when someone who actually manages creators builds the tool that actually protects them.
